In a previous post, I wrote about how I’ve decided to respond to the massive amount of spam/scam text messages I receive.
I use a set of pseudo-Assyrian royal inscriptions created for the purpose of irritating the people behind the scam texts (included as copy-pasteable text at the end of this post). My previous post collected some of the better responses I got while “king-phishing.”
Well, I’m happy to report that my efforts have paid off. Finally, Ashurnasirpal II (Aššur-nāṣir-apli), has found his soulmate. It’s too bad she (?) is so creepy.

What is up with that opening line, anyway? And does anyone know what “Mandu” means? I looked it up and got Korean dumplings, which seems wrong.
